B3 vitamin, also called niacin, is a single-vitamin choice where the form can matter as much as the amount. That is worth checking if you want a targeted product instead of whatever happens to be inside a broader blend.
Protein foods, grains, and mixed meals already provide niacin, so a separate supplement is not always necessary in an ordinary routine. The better question is why a single B3 product is being added at all.
Overlap is easy because B3 appears in multivitamins, B-complex products, and some energy-style formulas. In Finland, the ingredient list is usually more useful than the front-of-pack wording, especially when you are trying to see whether niacin is already present elsewhere in your routine.
If you use regular medicines, have liver disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are looking at B3 for a specific health concern, check suitability first.
