Sun protection: a small step that pays off over time

Sun protection is one of the most useful parts of a skin care routine, because UV exposure affects both comfort and how the skin looks over time. In Finland, the need does not disappear on cloudy days, and it matters just as much during outdoor activity, winter glare, and long summer daylight.

The best product is usually the one that feels easy enough to use regularly. Some people want a light face product, others prefer something richer or more water-resistant, and some want a mineral formula because it feels gentler around the eyes or on reactive skin. Face sunscreens are often the easiest choice if a regular sun lotion feels heavy or too occlusive.

The choice is not just about SPF. It is also about whether the product layers well under makeup or moisturizer, whether it feels sticky, and whether it stays comfortable when the day gets busy. If the texture is wrong, people tend to use too little of it.
